On the 3rd of December the State Memorial Museum St.Isaak`s Cathedral (Saint-Petersburg) presented the exhibition «Tribute to El Greco. Sculptured artworks by Nikos Floros. Greece». Joint Work Studio developed several printing materials for the official opening ceremony.
Nikos Floros uses his own very laborious technique, having no world equivalent. This contemporary invention appeals to the eternal and perfect. Having taken as a basis the original paintings of the world renowned artist El Greco («THE DISROBING OF CHRIST» and «THE RESURRECTION»), Nikos Floros dedicates his artworks to the 400th anniversary of the El Greco`s death.
Nikos Floros’ sculptures are unique and original designs utilizing materials from everyday life such as newspapers and aluminum cans which he transforms into fabric-like material used to create unique sculptural art. This method was created and patented by Nikos Floros in 2003.
